Aereal Dance

In Aerial dance the choreography incorporates an apparatus attached to a support .

The dancers could dance in 3 dimensions in vertical and horizontal ways.

The apparatus includes materials such as ropes or elastic and the supports could be the ceiling or the walls, just to mention the more popular.

In 2004 I was part of an aereal dance workshop. We were dancing, jumping and walking on the trees at the Quinta Normal Park at Santiago de Chili, using ropes and elastic.

Produce by the Area de danza CNCA de la División de Cultura del Ministerio de Educación and guided by Chilean artist Francisca Alvarez.
